Pro-Points System Overview
Pro-Points System Overview
Welcome to the official Pro-Points system! This system is designed to track player performance across sanctioned tournaments throughout the competitive season, offering a clear path for progression and recognition.
What are Pro-Points?
Pro-Points are awarded to players based on their final placement in officially sanctioned tournaments. The system is built to be scalable, meaning the number of points awarded increases significantly based on the size and prestige of the event. This ensures that success in larger, more competitive tournaments is appropriately rewarded.
How Pro-Points Work
- Earning Points: Players earn Pro-Points by achieving high placements in tournaments. The higher you finish, the more points you earn.
- Scaling by Size: The amount of Pro-Points available at an event depends on the total number of participants. We use defined size brackets to categorize tournaments, ensuring that larger events offer a greater reward.
- Placement Depth: The number of finishing positions that receive Pro-Points also scales with the tournament size. Larger events will award points to a deeper pool of top finishers.
- Seasonal Ranking: Accumulate Pro-Points throughout the competitive season to climb the official leaderboard. Your rank will be used for qualification into major championship events. Points typically reset at the end of each season to ensure rankings reflect current performance.
- Different Games: Each game has its own Pro-Points!
Pro-Points Breakdown
The following table details the Pro-Points awarded based on final placement within different tournament size brackets:

Important Note on Final Standings
Pro-Points are awarded based on the final official standings of the tournament after all rounds of play, including any top cut playoffs, are fully completed. In the event that players in a top cut bracket agree to split prizes, the tournament must still be played out to determine the final placements for the accurate awarding of Pro-Points.
Standard tournament tiebreakers (e.g., opponent match win percentage) will be used to determine final Swiss standings before any top cut, but these tiebreakers do not directly influence the points awarded, which are based solely on the final rank achieved.
